About me
I am Katalin. Nice to meet you. I am a transition coach, helping expats to overcome the challenges of moving to a new country.
Originally from Hungary, I've lived in 4 countries across 2 continents, settling in Geneva — where I experienced firsthand how even a seasoned expat can be caught off guard by culture shock.
After 15 years as an Organisational Developer supporting global companies and startups, I created ExpatHive to help others make the transition faster and deeper than I did. I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) at the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a specialist in cross-cultural adaptation and resilience.
About the Hive

The Foundation Workshop
A one-day interactive workshop covering the psychology of relocation, Swiss cultural agility, with specificities of Geneva, and resilience building. Participants leave with a personal integration strategy and 90-day action plan.
Individual Coaching
A personalized 5-session coaching program supporting your integration journey — covering cultural adaptation, identity, resilience, and belonging. Available online or in person in Geneva.
Trailing Spouse Track
A dedicated program for accompanying partners — addressing identity reconstruction, purpose redesign, and career re-entry after relocation. Because integration is a family challenge, not just an individual one.
